A Child Dream Turned To Reality
Novella was born and raised in Italy.
As a child she was always fascinated at the sight of beautiful jewelry,
and dreamed of someday being able to create her own.
Growing up in Milan, one of the international capitals of fashion,
provided a stimulating environment for her.
She was particularly fascinated with the workmanship of Etruscan and Roman jewelry,
and the beauty of Oriental jade carvings.
Novella spent innumerable hours studying ancient jewels in museums in Italy and around the world.
She attended courses and refined her skills on different jewelry techniques from famous artists.
However, it was only later in life, after she moved to Mount Tamalpais in Mill Valley, California,
that her interest became a hobby.
Encouraged by friends and family, she finally decided to present her jewelry collection to the public.
